Why and How I Illuminate (A Video)

Today, I used the Avon True Color Illuminating Stick in champagne. Some of you may be wondering, “What in the world do you do with an illuminating stick?” Let me explain. The illuminating stick and foundation are not the same. You illuminate after applying foundation. Use it to highlight areas on your face. I generally highlight (or illuminate) areas  such as my forehead, cheekbones, down the bridge of my nose, my brow bones, my chin, and my upper lip (Cupid’s bow). Then I blend. When light hits those areas that were illuminated, they become more pronounced and it gives your face such a nice glow. While I put mine on top of my foundation, some women put it underneath for a more subdued look. I don’t want to be subdued! LOL! Also, if you find that you’ve used too much, you can tone it down by covering with a little foundation.

Take a look at me using my illuminating stick in the video below. FYI, it comes in two shades: champagne and rose gold. I used champagne in the video. I think rose gold might look a little better on my skin tone, as it is a tad darker, but I still like the way the champagne looks. You can purchase it in my eStore by clicking the hyperlink.
